Before You Sign Up for Cascades START

Pay your Advance Tuition Deposit
To confirm your attendance at OSU-Cascades you will be asked to submit the Advance Tuition Deposit (ATD) form along with your $200 deposit. You will be invited to attend Cascades START once the Advance Tuition Deposit (ATD) is paid.

Registration for Cascades START is Required

Once are you invited to attend Cascades START please call OSU-Cascades Enrollment Services, 541-322-3100, to sign up. Cascades START is required and you must call to register. You will not be able to register until your Advance Tuition Deposit is paid.

  • When you call, you will be asked for your OSU-Cascades ID number. You will also be asked for your contact and major information. Be sure to have this handy when you call us.
  • Admitted OSU-Cascades students may also be taking classes at COCC, but are not required to attend the COCC Orientation.  COCC policies and resources are included in the OSU-Cascades orientation.

Preparing for Cascades START

Placement Tests (IMPORTANT: you must take the placement tests prior to attending an Cascades START session.)

  • If you have completed math and writing in college or if you have AP, IB or CLEP tests scores make sure you have those transcripts sent to OSU-Cascades as soon as possible. You will not be able to register for all courses until this is completed.

Student Account Requirements

Students will need to access their various OSU and COCC student accounts and online learning tools. Follow the student account and online tools set-up guide. You should bring the account tracking worksheet with you to Cascades START.
