What does it cost?

Our counseling services are 100% free.

How often will I have counseling sessions?

Sessions are typically scheduled weekly, for 50 minutes.

Will I see the same counselor each time?

Yes, we schedule clients for the same day and time each week so that you get to know and meet with the same counselor.

How long can I be a client at the clinic?

It depends on what your goals are and also the length of time the student counselor will be at the clinic.

Can I change counselors?

If you do not feel you and your counselor are a good fit/match, you can contact the clinic to see if there may be availability with another counselor.

What if my schedule changes?

We can usually accommodate the need to find a new day and time that works consistently. This could mean changing counselors.

What if I can’t make it to a scheduled session?

We ask that you let the clinic know at least 24 hours in advance, if possible. After two no-shows (not providing advanced notice) we will then open up your spot to waiting clients.

Is it confidential?

Our sessions are confidential per our professional code of ethics. There are times we are required to breach confidentiality. Our counselors are mandatory reporters when pertaining to issues that involve self-harm or harm to others and abuse involving a child, elderly, or individuals who are vulnerable. Our counselors are also under supervision and therefore each session is recorded for training purposes.
