About Convocation
Convocation means a “coming together.” It is one of two ceremonies that bookend the OSU academic year. Held each fall, Convocation celebrates OSU-Cascades’ newest students, and Commencement, held each spring, celebrates the newest class of graduates.
Convocation is a tradition where OSU-Cascades leaders, faculty and staff affirm their commitment to your academic journey and welcome you to a community that celebrates exploration, knowledge and discovery, and to making the world a better place.
