Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injury

The FORCE Lab recently investigated running, cutting, and drop-jump landing biomechanics in individuals post ACL Reconstruction (ACLR), and are in the process of publishing our findings.  We are currently recruiting for two studies aimed at improving cutting biomechanics post-ACLR and better understanding neuromuscular coordination during drop-jump landings.

ACLR Cutting Retraining Study

Previous research in our laboratory suggested that individuals post-ACLR demonstrated differences in cutting biomechanics between their surgical and non-surgical limbs upon return to sport.  The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of a verbal cue on cutting biomechanics post-ACLR.  If you have a history of ACLR and are interested in participating, please contact Dr. JJ Hannigan.

Drop-Jump Landing Study

This study aims to better understanding the connection between neuromuscular coordination and drop-jump landing biomechanics in healthy adults.  If you are interested in participating, please contact Dr. David Phillips.
