OPB and OSU host Veterans Day discussion in Bend, public invited

Students and faculty at Oregon State University – Cascades who served in the military or who provide services to veterans will join a live taping of a Veterans Day “Think Out Loud” discussion hosted by Oregon Public Broadcasting and the OSU School of History, Philosophy and Religion.  

The program will feature a panel of veterans, experts and counselors who will explore the history, politics, challenges and changes in service and national citizenship during and after times of war and conflict.

Members of the public are invited to contribute to the conversation.  

The taped discussion, themed the Past, Present and Future of Coming Home in America is free.  It will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 11 from 6 p.m to 8 p.m. at the Deschutes Brewery Mountain Room.  Deschutes Brewery is a sponsor of the event.
