OSU-Cascades club sports athletes compete at Mt. Bachelor in USCSA NWC

Athletes in Oregon State University - Cascades young sports program compete locally for the first time on Saturday, Jan. 26 and Sunday, Jan. 27 during the United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association's Northwest Conference.  The conference takes place during the Sunnyside Qualifier at Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort.  OSU-Cascades students will compete in the alpine and Nordic ski events.  The scheduled race times and events are:

Saturday, January 26

10:00 a.m. - Collegiate Nordic Race, Sunnyside Qualifier, Race Start

10:30 a.m. - Alpine Ski Race Start

10:00 a.m. - OSU-Cascades Student Rally with Benny Beaver  (Emil's Clearing, near Nordic Center)

 

Sunday, January 27

9:00 a.m. - Collegiate Nordic Race Day Two, Sunnyside Qualifier, Race Start

10:30 a.m. - Collegiate Alpine Race Start, Day Two

 

USCSANWC participating colleges include the University of Washington, Washington State University, University of Idaho, University of Oregon, University of British Columbia, University of Puget Sound, Whitman College and Oregon State University - Cascades.  USCANWC has produced team and individual national champions.
