OSU-Cascades Honors 2011 Distinguished Students

The Distinguished Student award is one of the top honors given at OSU-Cascades.  Thirteen degree candidates have been selected to receive the 2011 award.  Recipients are selected by members of the faculty.  The award recognizes a student from within each degree area in the current graduating class for outstanding achievement in academics and contribution to their field.  Distinguished Students consistently show a passion for learning and a dedication to their field of study and to the OSU-Cascades community.  The Distinguished Student award was initiated in 2004 and the 2011 honorees are:

A reception will be held in the award recipients' honor on Saturday, June 11, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Henry Sayre, Distinguished Professor of Art History and a former leader of the campus will serve as emcee.  Former senator and attorney Neal Bryant, OSU-Cascades 10th Commencement speaker, will offer remarks.
