Dennis Lynn is an Instructor in Human Development and Family Sciences and also serves as Program Lead. Having served in a number of administrative and faculty positions at other colleges and universities, he joined the faculty of OSU-Cascades in March 2009. Before moving to Bend, Dennis worked with HIV Alliance in Eugene, Oregon. 

Dennis received his Ph.D. in Human Development and the Family from the University of Nebraska and has focused much of his time and energy on encouraging strong, healthy and resilient families. Two of his favorite courses to teach are “Family Studies” and “Sociology of the Family”. 

Dennis is also the HDFS faculty coordinator for Human Services student internships.  As a Board member of the United Way of Deschutes County, he stays involved with agencies and other organizations in the community that work diligently to help people whose needs are often overlooked and underserved.
