MLK Jr. Day of Service - January 16, 2017

Our vision is for students, faculty, and staff to come together for a day of service and improvement to our Central Oregon community. Help us make it a Day On, not a Day Off!

We’ll start the day at 9:00 a.m. with breakfast for all volunteers and a few presentations by keynote speakers who’ll provide context and inspiration as we prepare for our community projects. We’ll then disperse into the community in groups to work on one of several projects with volunteer organizations throughout the city of Bend. Martin Luther King Jr. had a firm belief that the power to change the world stood within each individual. This event brings with it the opportunity to come together as a community for a day of service and improvement to the town we have all fallen in love with.
