Apply for Housing

First-Year Students

All students are eligible for on-campus housing. The housing application will ask questions about yourself and your living and dining preferences to help determine your best fit for on-campus housing. Read through the steps below to get started. 1. Get Admitted to OSU-Cascades

Keep in mind Important Application Dates

Register Your ONID Account

Once you have been admitted (including students enrolled in the Degree Partnership Program) you’ll receive an Oregon Network ID (ONID) account. Your ONID serves as your university email address and as a log-in credential for university services.

Go to the ONID website to activate your account; select “Sign Up for ONID” on the left hand side.

2. Research Your Options

Which room types fit your budget?

3. Apply For Housing

Log in and apply through the myHousing Portal
 

To get started, select the "OSU-Cascades Housing Application" link in the menu bar.

Complete “part one” in the application: This part covers demographic and contact information along with housing preferences. You can return to the application to update your answers later without affecting your part one completion date.

 

4. Deposit & Register

Pay Advance Tuition Deposit

Pay your Advance Tuition Deposit committing to OSU-Cascades.

Get ready for START

Before you can receive a room assignment, you must register for a Cascades START orientation session.

 

5. Roommate Matching and Room Assignments

All done?

Students must complete all items in Steps 1-4 before they can search for potential roommates or receive a housing assignment.

Room assignments begin

Room assignments for new students will take place in July. Check the myHousing Portal or your ONID email regularly for updates.
