Academic Year 2023-2024 Housing

All students are eligible for on-campus housing. The housing application will ask questions about yourself and your living and dining preferences to help determine your best fit for on-campus housing. Read through the steps below to get started. 1. Get Admitted to OSU-Cascades

Confirm your student status

You are considered a transfer student if you have 36 or more transferable credit hours and have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent more than a year ago. Learn more about transfer admissions.

Submit your application

Complete and submit your application for admission to OSU-Cascades.

Make an ONID Account

Once you have been admitted (including students enrolled in the Degree Partnership Program) you’ll receive an OSU Network ID (ONID) account. Your ONID serves as your university email address and as a login credential for university services.

Go to the ONID website to activate your account; select “Sign Up for ONID” on the left-hand side.

3. Apply For Housing

Your application is your first step for on-campus housing; make sure you understand the application and contract. You will be asked to sign your room and dining contract later on in the process.

4. Deposit & Register

Pay Advance Tuition Deposit

Pay your Advance Tuition Deposit committing to Oregon State.

Get ready for Transfer START

New transfer students complete an online orientation before coming to campus to meet with an advisor and register for classes.

5. Room Assignment

All Done?

Students must complete all items in Steps 1-4 before they can receive a room assignment.

Room assignments begin

Room selection for new transfer students will take place in June 2023. Check the myHousing portal or your ONID email regularly for updates
