Welcome to OSU-Cascades!

Welcome Week is September 18 - September 20

Welcome Week

Welcome Week is an exciting time for students to learn about and participate in traditions at OSU-Cascades. The week is filled with activities designed to connect our newest students with other undergraduates and our amazing faculty. Students attend sessions dedicated to their academic success, personal health and mental wellness. During Welcome Week students get to know each other by participating in events like field day, Beaver Gameshow, and our scavenger hunt.

Throughout the week, OSU-Cascades will have student and academic success workshops, a Convocation ceremony, a degree program fair, speed mixer, resource fair, open house and much more. There will also be family friendly events like our farewell BBQ and family fun night.

More details will be announced in early September.

Headwaters Wilderness Orientation Program

Headwaters outdoor trips are the week before Welcome Week. Begin your OSU-Cascades experience with a wilderness adventure alongside new and returning students. Select from one of the trips and enjoy a positive and growing experience. Meet other students and share in this adventure before you embark upon your journey at OSU-Cascades.

Choose from a five-day canoe trip on the Deschutes River or a three-day backpacking trip in the Three Sisters Wilderness.
