Students will use a variety of accounts and tools while they are students at OSU-Cascades. Here is the information new students will need to create their accounts before they attend orientation. Students also find the Tools and Accounts Form helpful for tracking their information and tasks for starting out at OSU-Cascades.

OSU Email

Set up your OSU email account, also known as ONID:

  1. Visit the Set-Up Page
  2. or click on the Sign Up for ONID
  3. If you have any issues go here and watch the video on "how to create an ONID account." 
  4. Be sure to save your ONID and password, you will use this for all OSU login access.

OSU (ONID Gmail) email can also be accessed through your Google Apps for OSU.
Check out the suggestions for missing important emails. Note that all faculty and staff are required to email student's OSU email.

MyOSU

The myOSU portal is designed to bring information about Oregon State University resources and services to a central location. Students will be able to access many campus resources from the OSU Central Login after entering their ONID username and password one time. Hint: You will need your ONID and password to log-in to MyOSU.

  • Paying for College - financial aid and scholarship, billing

Duo for Oregon State

Duo is a two-step login to protect your OSU account. Duo is required for confidential financial information. This includes direct deposit information, W-2’s and other forms containing Social Security number.

How do I enable two-step login?
Follow the steps found on the OSU Duo website to set up Duo for Oregon State on your smartphone or tablet. If you have any issues or questions with the two-step login system go to duo.oregonstate.edu or contact the IS Service Desk.

What if I don’t have a smartphone or tablet?

  • Hardware Token
    You can use a hardware token purchased at the cashier's desk in OSU-Cascades Academic/Dining Building.
    Once purchased you must add it to your account.
  • Special-Access Kiosks
    Use the special-access kiosk in Tykeson Hall First Floor Lobby available during building hours.

COCC Student Accounts

Students may choose or need to take courses at COCC in any given term as a dual-admitted student. Set up your COCC accounts to access the information you will need. Visit the COCC student login website to step through first-time user set up. The following tools will be used:
