If your organization already has a Handshake account, please follow this link to add OSU as one of your schools.  If you do not have an account with Handshake, register here. This system will be our new job board, career fair management and interviewing tool, and go-to networking platform.

How to Register and Post a Job on Handshake:

  1. Create a new user account on Handshake: https://app.joinhandshake.com/employer_registrations/new

  2. Check your email to confirm  your account

  3. Search for your Employer to see if your company already has an Employer account

My company does not have an Employer account: My company already has an Employer account that I want to join: My company already has an Employer account, but I want to set up a separate account:

4a.) Create a new Employer profile for your company

5a.) Search for and select Oregon State University and any other schools of interest to post opportunities to

PAUSE: DO NOT POST OPPORTUNITIES UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN EMAIL STATING THAT YOU ARE APPROVED BY THE SCHOOL(S) YOU SELECTED TO POST OPPORTUNITIES

6a.) Log back into the system to post job and internship opportunities

7a.)You will receive an email confirmation when your posting has been approved by OSU or any other school(s) you selected

4b.) Request to join your Employer as a staff member

5b.) PAUSE: You will receive an email when the account holder of the Employer account at your company approves you as a staff member (if you do not receive notification within a couple of business days, please let us know)

6b.) Log back in to Handshake and select “Schools” from the left hand menu

7b.) Check to see if your Employer is already approved to post at OSU or any other school(s) of interest

Is your business a franchise of a larger company? If so, you have two options for how to make it stand out in Handshake:

  • OPTION 1: Create a Division within the larger company, highlighting your local office.
     
  • OPTION 2: Create a separate account, not affiliated with the larger company. Click on “Create New Company” on Step 3 of the registration process. You may also need to contact Handshake Support to finalize your profile if you share a domain with the larger company.

9b2.) Once you receive the email, log back into the system to post job and internship opportunities
