Tap into your creative side with Printmaking and explore an art medium with limitless possibilities. This course is suited for anyone new to this artistic craft or who wants to brush up their skills and learn more. Art instructor Andrew Lorish has an MFA in visual studies and will explore techniques in woodcut and linoleum cut, and learn proper tool handling, carving techniques and printing practices. Working primarily with plywood and linoleum, you’ll practice multiple block registration, alternative printing surfaces and the chine collé technique.
