The Changing Landscape of Recreational Drugs

In just a short 25 years, marijuana has gone from demonized to legalized—but this transition is not without intense debate. Are hallucinogens on the precipice of a similar transition? For those who want to learn more about marijuana and hallucinogens, this workshop will discuss the high, the health impacts and the history of drug regulation. Designed for those who want to debate the issue and anyone interested in learning more about all aspects of recreational drugs, OSU-Cascades psychology instructor Peter Sparks will provide an enlightening overview of these drugs and facilitate engaging conversations.
