Here is a list of scholarships that our Master of Counseling students are eligible for. This list is not all-inclusive, so we encourage students and applicants to do additional research to identify other funding opportunities.

Oregon Lottery Graduate Scholarship Varies up to $5,000 4/24/2023

Chapter FL of PEO Scholarship and Carolyn J. Swisher Scholarship $1500-$3000 4/15/2023

- Must be enrolled in higher education program, with preference given to women who are either dually enrolled at COCC and OSU-Cascades or enrolled in any of the OSU-Cascades graduate or undergraduate degree programs

APF Queen-Nellie Evans Scholarship $4000 1/31/2023

- The APF Queen-Nellie Evans scholarship funds a scholarship to a graduate student from underrepresented groups who has a demonstrated financial need and is committed to improving the disparities in societal structures and issues that negatively impact communities of color, particularly communities of African descent

- Applicants must be minority graduate students enrolled in accredited masters or doctoral programs

Violet and Cyril Franks Scholarship $5000 5/15/2023

- The APF Violet and Cyril Franks Scholarship supports graduate-level scholarly projects that use a psychological perspective to help understand and reduce stigma associated with mental illness. The scholarship helps address research which shows that stigma is a significant barrier to treatment and recovery for many of the 50 million Americans living with mental illness.

- Applicants must be graduate students in good standing at accredited universities

- Applicants must have demonstrated commitment to stigma issues
