Hospitality is the world’s largest employer generating nearly 200 million jobs globally. In Oregon, the hospitality industry is a $9.2 billion industry.  It directly generates some 91,100 jobs in Oregon and indirectly creates another 41,000 jobs.  As a result, one out of every nine jobs in Oregon is in the hospitality industry. Tourism and hospitality businesses are among the largest employers in Central Oregon and the industry is currently experiencing a surge in growth.
