June 14-16, 2019
Join us for Rendezvous with Risk, a literary festival in Bend presented by OSU-Cascades' MFA in Creative Writing.
Celebrate nationally-recognized storytellers and Oregon-based artists who work at the intersection of art-making and risk-taking. The festival is designed for readers and writers to come together and learn what’s exciting in the world of contemporary literature, and also find inspiration for your own craft.
All events are open to the public.
Join novelist and National Book Award finalist T. Geronimo Johnson as he shares thoughts on “being” after a year in Rome as a Rome Prize Winner.
Jason Graham, aka MOsley WOtta, will lead the keynote conversation on Friday and a writing workshop: "walls as bridges" on Saturday.
One of the two interactive art installations at the festival. "DACA Lounge" by Horatio Law is inspired by the courage of DACA students, who dare to dream in this time of uncertainty.
