Biography

Desireé Margo has been actively engaged in education for 36 years. She spent 20 years as a teacher at various levels prior to going into administration. She received both her master's and doctorate degrees in Educational Leadership at the University of Oregon. As an administrator, Desireé served as the Assistant Director of Student Services in the Redmond School District prior to becoming a principal at M.A. Lynch Elementary School. She then had the opportunity to develop and open a new early learning model for the district, The Redmond Early Learning Center. Desireé’s advocacy and work has focused on equity through the development and improvement of programs and systems that support all. She is also passionate about developing the potential in others, and serves as a coach and mentor for developing leaders.

Desireé is a Dare to Lead ™ Facilitator. This work is central to her leadership. Desireé enjoys spending time with her husband of 40 years, Tony, and her large family, to include four grandchildren, spending time in the beautiful Central Oregon outdoors: hiking, biking, kayaking, camping, and working in her garden.
