Emiko-Goka Dubose is working with Dr. Shannon Lipscomb to develop an online professional development for early childhood teachers to address early childhood trauma. She has her Master's in Counseling in Clinical Mental Health with a focus in child and family mental health from Portland State University. Emiko has 15 years of working with children and families experiencing trauma, primarily domestic violence and co-occuring trauma. Her academic and professional experience has focused on the neurodevelopmental impact of trauma on early childhood and relationship development. She has worked directly securing federal, state, and local grants, generating budgets, and maintaining fiscal compliance. She is qualified in Early Childhood Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (EC PBIS) and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP).
