John Atkinson grew up in Estacada, Oregon and is excited to be working in Bend as the residential education coordinator for OSU-Cascades. He most recently worked at the University of Nevada, Reno in the Center for Student Engagement as the coordinator for programs and services. Before that, he worked as a resident director at Montana State University where he earned a Master of Education in Adult and Higher Education in 2019. John has also worked for the University of Idaho as a resident director and for Nichols College as a graduate assistant. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2014 from the University of Nevada, Reno.
