Lauren has been actively engaged in the arts communities in both Portland and Bend for more than 13 years. Seiffert received the thesis award for strength and excellence in both her thesis exhibition and thesis oral defense. She was awarded both the David McCosh and Ida McClung memorial grants for emerging artists. Seiffert is a founding member of FO(u)RT Artist Collective. Her work has been exhibited both locally and nationally, at galleries including Disjecta Contemporary Art Center.
