Group counseling is a form of counseling where a small group of people meet regularly to discuss, interact, and explore problems with each other and the group leader. Group counseling seeks to give students a safe and comfortable place on campus where they can work out problems and emotional concerns.
Collegiate Alcohol & Drug Recovery Group Facilitator
Gage has worked with people in early recovery from addiction for over 5 years. He began his career as a Program Assistant for a collegiate recovery program and has worked as a Counselor in addictions treatment through a community provider. His work centers around guiding others to find purpose and direction in their own lives, while aiding in the navigation of life challenges in recovery. Gage utilizes outdoor experiences as well as individual and group counseling to help each person find their own potential of a full and meaningful life.
