When OSU-Cascades’ campus opened in 2016, it was first university campus to open in Oregon in 50 years. Its state-of-the-art facilities currently serve 1,120 students. The 10-acre campus is the initial footprint for a growing university.
University planners, faculty, students and community members are contributing to a process to design an expanded campus that will serve 3,000 to 5,000 students.
The university campus will expand onto an adjacent 46-acre pumice mine property. A county-owned landfill also abuts the campus property, and offers opportunity for expansion.
