Building a Four-Year University in Bend

OSU-Cascades was born out of a 30-year grassroots effort put forth by Central Oregonians to bring a university to the region.

Our 10-Acre Campus

When OSU-Cascades’ campus opened in 2016, it was first university campus to open in Oregon in 50 years. Its state-of-the-art facilities currently serve 1,120 students. The 10-acre campus is the initial footprint for a growing university.

Our Expanding Campus

The university campus will expand onto an adjacent 46-acre pumice mine property. A county-owned landfill also abuts the campus property, and offers opportunity for expansion.
