Anytime Anywhere: TELUS Health App
Anytime Anywhere: TELUS Health is an app that gives all OSU students, including Ecampus students, immediate access by text or phone with a licensed mental health counselor, 24/7. Students can communicate with a counselor in five different languages (Mandarin, Cantonese, French, Spanish or English); additional language options are available upon request. FAQ
No, all health and wellness services provided by OSU-Cascades are covered by the student health fee. Although health insurance is not required for domestic students, all students are strongly encouraged to have some form of health insurance. OSU offers a comprehensive health insurance plan as well as information on signing up for the Oregon Health Plan. Insurance information.
Immunizations offer safe and effective protection from vaccine-preventable diseases and safeguard the health of students and the community. This is especially true for students living in group housing on- or off-campus. Visit beav.es/immunizations for requirements.
Counseling services are offered year-round, in person or via telehealth. A professional counselor can help you with interpersonal conflicts, stress management, grief and life transitions. All counseling sessions are confidential and free for enrolled students. Email student.counseling@osucascades.edu to make an appointment. OSU requires new students to complete important online trainings that promote their health, safety and personal development. Students will be notified by email in early September regarding course requirements. Please note that all students must take a sexual assault prevention training each year.
