Aidas Banaitis earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics at Georgetown University and a Master of Arts in Mathematics at the University of California, Los Angeles. Aidas has been teaching mathematics for almost 20 years and has taught classes ranging from basic math, algebra, trigonometry, calculus and everything in-between.

Prior to attending graduate school, he worked as an actuarial analyst. His experience in industry provides him with a unique perspective which he shares with his students. His goal is to keep transforming math education and inspire more students to appreciate and study math and science.
