Cate Hill was born and raised in Oregon, but has lived in Colorado and Mexico as well. She has been an adjunct professor in the MAT program at OSU-Cascades since the 2005-06 school year and has worked with Bend-La Pine Schools for over 23 years as a classroom teacher, literacy coach, ELL teacher, and currently as an instructional coach/professional developer for the ELL department.

She is passionate about education and helping the next generation of teachers to succeed with a diverse population of learners.
