Serving as Director of Career Services represents a full circle opportunity for Cynthia Engel. After serving as part of the inaugural team to create OSU-Cascades’ foundations 20+ years ago, she has returned to leverage a subsequent 15+ year history of experience in global career development programming. The throughline of her career has been characterized by designing and delivering inclusive and values-driven programming in support of creating the space for students to explore and identify what brings them meaning both personally and professionally.

Now back at OSU-Cascades, Cynthia is especially eager to optimize and grow the career services division to become a leader in nurturing student career development while fortifying OSU-Cascades' value to both internal and external partners and networks. When not at OSU-Cascades, you'll find Cynthia XC skiing or mountain biking throughout the region, or trekking (and eating) her away across alpine peaks around the world.
