Biography

Lauren Seiffert (she/her) is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Bend, Oregon. She holds a BA and BFA from the University of Oregon, along with an MFA from the Pacific Northwest College of Art. Lauren is a founding member of FO(u)RT, an interdisciplinary art collective known for critique and collaboration. Her creative portfolio spans sculpture, installation, fibers, and video, often integrating found objects, images, refuse, and social media commentary into darkly humorous site-specific installations.

Lauren's engagement in the arts includes her roles as a Board Member and Exhibition Manager at the nonprofit Scalehouse Collaborative for the Arts. She also serves as the regional coordinator for the Americans for the Arts - Arts and Economic Prosperity Study, evaluating the economic impact of nonprofit arts organizations in Central Oregon. Her work has been showcased locally and nationally, including at Disjecta Contemporary and SATOR Projects and an online feature by SFMOMA.
