Steph has spent over ten years working as an educator, trainer, facilitator and supervisor within higher education administration, leadership development, and diversity and inclusion. Their current work as Student Engagement Coordinator includes overseeing Events Council (including events like FlannelFest, Casino Night, and the many food and Bend related activities), the Sports Club Program, as well as the Student Organization Program. Steph has been active in creating and participating in various committees on campus, as well as within the Central Oregon region. After graduating from Colorado State University with a Master’s in Student Affairs in Higher Education, Steph has been presenting locally, regionally, and nationally around a variety of topics, with a passion for incorporating pop culture (including movies and tv, books and comic books, and video games) into student development theory to create discussion around support and community.
