OSU-Cascades launches new graduate degrees in math and science education

April 13, 2012

Oregon State University - Cascades added two new degree programs to its teacher education offerings this week. Launching this summer, the Master of Arts in Teaching Advanced Mathematics and the Master of Arts in Teaching Integrated Science will follow the cohort model of teaching with students taking the same classes at the same time. Both programs are full time, beginning in June 2012 and concluding in the summer of the following year.

Graduates of the program will receive a master's degree, an Oregon initial 1 teaching license to teach in middle and high schools, and endorsements to teach in math or science. Applications will be accepted through April 20, 2012 for the 2012-2013 cohort. Applications for the 2013-2014 programs will be available later this year.
