OSU/COCC- DPP Advising

Students in the degree partnership program with OSU-Cascades and COCC have a great opportunity to use both campuses to accomplish their academic goals. In addition, students in this program have access to OSU-Cascades services right away that can support a healthy transition from a community college to OSU. Here are some important points of the advising experience for OSU/COCC-DPP:

  • Students must meet with their OSU-Cascades advisor for OSU course registration each term. Students benefit from meeting with their OSU academic advisor to create a plan for courses. These plans will list OSU classes and COCC course suggestions for the term.

  • Even if students are not taking classes at OSU each term, they have access to Advising at OSU-Cascades. Students who take COCC courses will work directly with COCC Advising for a COCC Advising Hold release. 

  • Students will use MyDegrees to track progress to their OSU degree and have access to other OSU online resources

  • Students must complete a New Student Onboarding before you can register for OSU classes.
