OSU/COCC- DPP Advising

Students in the degree partnership program with OSU-Cascades and COCC have a great opportunity to use both campuses to accomplish their academic goals. In addition, students in this program have access to OSU-Cascades services right away that can support a healthy transition from a community college to OSU. Here are some important points of the advising experience for OSU/COCC-DPP:

  • Students benefit from meeting with their OSU academic advisor to create a plan for courses. These plans will list OSU classes and COCC course suggestions for the term. Students will then have what they need to register at both institutions.

  • Even if students are not taking classes at OSU each term, they have access to Advising at OSU-Cascades.

  • Students will use MyDegrees to track progress to their OSU degree and have access to other OSU online resources

  • Students must complete a New Student Onboarding before you can register for OSU classes.
