Getting Started in the Studio
OP:EN Studio
Accessing the Studio
OP:EN labs aims to serve students and external partners. All students have access to the studio during open hours (10-6, M-F). For Engineering and Outdoor Products students, we allow card access to the studio for after hours access. If you are interested in this option, please complete all of the Canvas module courses and quizzes or reach out to Naomi Morrison for Canvas access.
Equipment Training
OSU-Cascades students can come into the studio to learn how to use our machines. Our ULA student staff are knowledgeable on the studio equipment and are more than happy to help. During our studio open hours, we will have at least one staff on hand to help with projects and teach machine use.
Renting Gear
We have resources for students to check out including:
- Photography and Vidoegraphy Kits
- Home sewing machines
- Computers than run CLO3d, Illustrator, and Fusion 360

Bend Community Use
This studio is designed to benefit Central Oregon outdoor enterprenuers by allowing community members to use our machines. If you are interested in utilizing the studio, feel free to stop by during our open hours or email op.enstudio@osucascades.edu
OSU Student Made Projects
We are able to provide the studio resources and student know-how to create small batch OSU branded projects and merch for other internal programs. If you are interested, please follow the form below.
