Domestic Students
Although not required for domestic students, OSU encourages students to seek health insurance so that they can live their healthiest lives.
International Students
International students must purchase OSU's health insurance or show a record of similar coverage and request a waiver. International students are automatically enrolled in OSU's health insurance, and the charge is billed to the student's account. Find out more about international student health insurance through OSU.
If you plan to have health insurance coverage under a parent or guardian's health insurance, check how many network providers are near the college. You can stay on their plan until you're 26, even if you're married, live away from home, go to school, are financially independent, or have your own job's health insurance. Call your insurance plan for specific benefits and coverage details.
