Here is a list of scholarships that our Master of Arts in Teaching students are eligible for. This list is not all-inclusive, so we encourage students and applicants to do additional research to identify other funding opportunities!

Oregon Teacher Scholars Program $10,000 (Renewable) 3/1/2023

- Oregon's four-year public and nonprofit universities only

- Prior recipients may be eligible for one additional year depending on funding availability

- Students must be ethnically diverse and/or a Heritage Speaker of a language other than English

- Graduate students can apply upon enrolling in, or if currently enrolled in, an approved Oregon preliminary teacher licensure program

James Madison Graduate Fellowship $24,000 max 3/1/2023

- Be a US citizen

- Be a teacher, or plan to become a teacher, of American history, American government, or civics at the secondary school level

- After receiving the master's degree, each Fellow must teach American history, American government, or civics in grades 7-12 for one full year for each academic year of funding received under a fellowship, preferably in the state from which the recipient won the fellowship
