We receive various campus alarm notifications i.e.: fire, duress, emergency calls, and respond as appropriate.
Let us know about any of the following: an unattended animal tethered to an object, a dog left in car on a hot day, loose dog, any loose animal inside a building, or wounded wildlife on campus.
Bikes locked to signs or railings, or which appear abandoned may be impounded. If your bike is missing, please call Campus Safety at (541) 322- 3110. Visit our Bikes on Campus page for more information and resources.
We provide security of campus facilities and maintain building access control.
The Guardian App is a free App to enhance user’s safety while they move around campus. You can alert your friends to be a virtual companion and follow your progress through the “Track Me” feature. Visit the Guardian App page for download instructions.
We are notified when an elevator emergency button is pushed and will assess and respond as appropriate.

Locked yourself out of your office? Call us at (541) 322-3110, Monday - Friday: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. A Campus Safety specialist will respond to assist you, and will need to see your OSU-Cascades ID.
Campus Safety enforces OSU Policy and will respond to situations that involve policy violations.
We assist Transportation Services and may enforce OSU Vehicle Use and Parking Policy.

Students, faculty, and staff who feel threatened or unsafe walking on campus can call us at
(541) 322-3110 and request a Campus Safety specialist to accompany them. The safety escort service is offered during Campus Safety duty hours and is available both on the Chandler-Century campus and at the Graduate & Research Center (GRC). Safety escorts are not provided if walking from the Chandler-Century campus to the GRC or vice versa.
