Nearly 400 guests joined us on March 31, 2022 at an event to hear one of the world’s foremost climate scientists, Michael E. Mann. Mann spoke about the challenge we face in the next decade to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and move to energy provided by the wind and sun. Researcher Elizabeth Marino, co-director of the Laboratory for the American Conversation at OSU-Cascades, opened the event and joined the speaker for a question-and-answer session.
