Discovery Day Schedule

Discovery Day 2023 coincides with the First Peoples of Central Oregon – Cultural Experiences event, being held at OSU-Cascades the same day, which will include activities presented by members of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs that honor their history and traditions. The event culminates with a Traditional Native Salmon Bake from 4 to 5 p.m. The salmon bake is $10 per person, and registration is required at OSUcascades.edu/event-registration.

Every region has a history of Native American presence. A leading advocate for the CTWS’ language and arts, Greene will share how these communities lived in harmony with the territory, depending on the health of the environment for survival, and connecting with the spiritual presence and life of all within. He’ll contrast how today, the world witnesses conditions and social noise that disconnect us from the spiritual component of the pursuit of enlightenment, presence and support.

See biomechanics demonstrations using a life-size 3-D digital model of the human anatomy. Visit stations staffed by students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program and test your strength, reflexes and balance.
