Substitute Teachers
Little Beavs Early Care and Education relies on substitute teachers to sign up with a temporary agency affiliated with OSU-Cascades, BBSI. Through this temp agency, teachers go through a thorough background check and are still required to complete all necessary certifications and trainings in order to supervise young children. Substitute teachers are given an initial orientation and shadow a program prior to filling in as lead teacher for that program. Substitute teachers are required to be enrolled in the State of Oregon’s Registry and print certification of registry step.
