Learn by Doing is your chance to get out on campus, nature or the community, engage with your peers, and learn while you're doing! 

On Sunday of Connect Week, choose an activity that interests you. Whether it’s exploring the outdoors, creating something new, or lending a hand in the community, spend the afternoon learning, connecting, and having a good time.

How do I register?

  1. Search for and download the “Bend Beavs Central” app via your app store, or use the online portal. Having issues with your profile?  Contact us at BendBeavsCentral@osucascades.edu.

  2. Use the Learn by Doing event link below to register.

  3. Scroll down the page to find the Details section and a PDF attachment “LBD_Activities_2026” for descriptions of your activities of choice.

  4. To complete registration, go to the green Registration link on the event page. This will direct you to a special form via Qualtrics.

  5. Complete all sections of your registration, including activity selection and filling out forms

NOTE: Some participants will be directed to complete paperwork for vendors we are using for trips/activities. These MUST be completed to participate in the activities prior to Saturday, September 19th at 6:00 PM. Additionally, participants under the age of 18 will need a parent/guradian to sign as well.
