The Research in Art and Design lab exposes students to the rich art and design culture of central Oregon through historical and experimental research. Under the direction of Liberal Arts faculty, researchers work to reveal the conditions of current issues in the arts, gather information on dominant trends in design culture, and investigate the historical contexts that shape creative practices today.
