On-Campus Resources

  • Fitness Center Located on the ground floor of the Residence Hall, the Fitness Center is open to OSU-Cascades students, faculty and staff. Student attendants are present in the Fitness Center, and can help with proper body mechanics and injury prevention.
  • Cascades Adventures Cascades Adventures aims to provide enriching experiences for all levels of outdoor enthusiasts. This program provides students, faculty and staff with an opportunity to participate in outdoor activities, outings, programs and workshops. The office also offers inexpensive gear rentals, an adventure-based reference library, and discounted ski passes.

Off-Campus Resources

  • Mosaic Community Health, Mosaic offers comprehensive services including medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, nutrition, and more. Mosaic offers care to all patients, regardless of insurance status. They also have a team of insurance enrollment specialists to assist with insurance questions and access, including helping patients sign up for Oregon Health Plan (OHP). 
  • Summit Health Clinic, providing primary, specialty, and urgent care in Bend and Redmond.
  • Healthy Families of the High Desert, (541) 749-2133, Healthy start program that assists with giving their newborn children a “healthy start” in life.
  • Oregon Health Plan (OHP), OHP covers medical, dental, prescription and behavioral health care at no cost to members.
  • Planned Parenthood, Bend Health Center, (888) 875-7820, Offers Abortion Services, Birth Control, HIV Testing, Men's Health Care, Morning-After Pill (Emergency Contraception), Pregnancy Testing & Services, STD Testing, Treatment & Vaccines, Women's health care.
  • Downtown Health Center, (541) 322-7499 - A reproductive health clinic operated by Deschutes County Public Health, offering many free or low-cost services, including a mobile health clinic that visits OSU-Cascades twice a month! 
  • Women, Infants and Children (WIC), (541) 322-7400, Free health and nutrition program for women, nursing mothers, and children up to age 5.
