Description

The minor in English at OSU-Cascades is designed for students in any major. Lower division courses are surveys of past to contemporary American authors. The upper division classes explore the connections between literature and culture. Critical thinking, written and oral communication, and collaboration are applicable skills to any major area of study or career field.

The minor in English allows students to concentrate in the area of the liberal arts and develop the reading and writing skills often demanded by employers.
