Early Childhood Career Development Program
Save up to $12,000 in tuition.

Interested in working with young children? This 12-month program will jumpstart your career in early learning and provide financial tuition support. It will help you:
- Get up to 45 academic credits toward your degree at no cost, a value of up to $12,000.
- Work part-time with children while taking classes, earning $15.50/hr.
- Learn from a faculty mentor.
- Receive valuable career placement advising.
- Build experience to meet Oregon qualifications to be an early learning child care teacher.
Please submit by the following deadlines for these upcoming terms:
Summer 24 Start: 5/13 (priority), 5/27 (deadline)
Fall 24 Start: 4/22 (priority), 6/17 (extended priority), 8/12 (deadline)
Winter 25 Start: 11/25 (priority), 12/9 (deadline)
Spring 25 Start: 2/17 (priority), 3/3 (deadline)

Bend Park and Recreation District, Kids INC Program
Get a $5,250 scholarship plus earn an hourly wage.
Interested in leadership, recreation, working with kids, or community involvement? Earn an hourly wage, plus a $5,250 scholarship, when you work with Kids INC one of Bend’s most established after-school care programs for children and youths. You’ll lead them in indoor and outdoor enriching activities, and help create a positive, welcoming and safe environment.
- Work in locations and recreation settings around Bend, with school age children or youths.
- Commit to 20 hours a week until June 13, 2025
- Work Monday to Friday from 2 to 5:30 p.m., Wednesday from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.
- Take time off during Bend La Pine School District holidays (typically match OSU designated holidays)
