OSU-Cascades Beavers Care/Financial Hardship Scholarship

OSU-Cascades has set aside funding to assist OSU-Cascades students who are experiencing unexpected financial hardship that interferes with academic progress. Please click here to review the application and scholarship requirements thoroughly. If you believe you meet the scholarship requirements please complete the application and email it from your ONID account to financialaid@osucascades.edu. Signatures are required. E-signatures are accepted. You MUST accept and receive all financial aid first, including student loans before applying for the financial hardship scholarship. Please see the following important dates:

  • Summer Term: Application period is June 24, 2024 - September 6, 2024
  • Fall Term: Application period is September 7, 2024 - December 13, 2024
  • Winter Term: Application period is December 14, 2024 - March 21, 2025
  • Spring Term: Application period is March 22, 2025 - June 13, 2025

OSU-Cascades Persistence Scholarship

OSU-Cascades has set aside scholarships to assist OSU-Cascades graduating undergraduate senior students who have exhausted their federal and state financial aid. If you believe you meet the scholarship requirements please complete the application and email it from your ONID account to financialaid@osucascades.edu. Signatures are required. E-signatures are accepted. We will begin accepting applications on the following dates:

  • Summer Term: Application period is June 24, 2024 - September 6, 2024
  • Fall Term: Application period is September 7, 2024 - December 13, 2024
  • Winter Term: Application period is December 14, 2024 - March 21, 2025
  • Spring Term: Application period is March 22, 2025 - June 13, 2025

Grace Bio-Labs: STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Math majors. 3 or fewer terms to complete their BA or BS. Priority to underrepresented students in STEM majors. 2.50 GPA

Stena Foundation Completion Scholarship: First Undergraduate degree, within 3 terms of graduation, registration hold due to unpaid bill, participate in Cascades Edge Financial Literacy.

 

National and Global Scholarships Advising

The National and Global Scholarship Advising Office is located on the Corvallis campus. They support students throughout the process of applying to select nationally-competitive scholarships and fellowships (study abroad scholarship opportunities are available). PEO Scholarships

P.E.O. is a philanthropic organization where women celebrate the advancement of women, educate women through scholarships, and motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations.

The AI Bend Chapter of P.E.O. is seeking applicants for the following scholarships for the 2025-26 academic year.  The applications are due February 1, 2025. In order to complete our selection process, the deadline to notify us of your interest is Tuesday October 22, 2024.

Marguerite

Provides grants for tuition and fees applied toward a degree, certificate, workshop, vocational or technical course, specialized training at any post-secondary level of an accredited institution in Oregon.  Fees, books, and other expenses such as childcare and transportation may be covered if school fees are paid.  Award amounts dependent on need and funds available and are typically in the $1000-2500 range.

Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizen, resident of Oregon (at least 12 months)
  • Attending an Oregon institution
  • Preference will be given to a woman re-entering school after a significant break in education, those with dependents, and those successfully enrolled in school rather than an incoming freshman
  • Extenuating circumstances will be considered
  • Six credit hours minimum completed with a minimum of 2.5 GPA required

Oregon Scholarship

Provides grants for tuition and fees to women pursuing a degree at an accredited Oregon college or university. The award amounts dependent upon funds available and are typically in the $1000-2500 range.

Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizen and resident of Oregon (at least 12 months)
  • Junior, Senior, or graduate student at accredited Oregon college or University. If you are currently a sophomore, you would be eligible if you are accepted at an accredited Oregon college by March 1, 2025
  • Ninety (90) credit hours completed at quarter institutions, or sixty (60) credit hours completed at semester institutions, pursuing a solid degree
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA required
  • Funding available only for the next academic year and applicant cannot receive Marguerite funds in the same academic year

  • AI Chapter will review applications and issue invitations for interviews in mid-December. An AI Chapter member will assist in the completion of all application materials to be submitted by the deadline of February 1, 2025
