Jennifer Reimer Recio

Jennifer A. Reimer received her Ph.D. in ethnic studies from the University of California, Berkeley in 2011, and her MFA in Writing from the University of San Francisco in 2005. She is the 2011 winner of the American Studies Association’s Gloria E. Anzaldúa Award. She has numerous scholarly and creative publications. As a scholar, Jennifer writes about culture, race, gender, and migration.

Julie Gess-Newsome

Gess-Newsome has devoted her academic career to the preparation and support of teachers and received recognition from the National Association for Research in Science Teaching, the Association for Science Teacher Education, and the American Education Research Association for her research. Over her career, she has attracted more than $14 million in state and federal research and education grants.

Quentin Comus

Quentin graduated from OSU-Cascades in 2023 with a B.S. in Natural Resources, an Education minor, a Business minor, and a GIS Certificate. Throughout his four years of undergrad, he served as a student employee in the Office of Student Life, Office of the Vice President, and Office of the Chancellor and Dean. During this time, he was involved in the development of Cascades Edge and transitioned to a professional faculty role in June 2023 to lead the launch and implementation of the new career development initiative.

Bradley Martin

Bradley Martin teaches classroom courses (including TRAL writing intensive WIC / research courses) and field courses. He enjoys teaching students the art of learning and thriving in the outdoors during all seasons of the High Desert region of Central Oregon. His passions include ski mountaineering, backcountry skiing/snowboarding, whitewater kayaking, sailing and being in remote wilderness settings.

At OSU-Cascades, he serves on the Associate Faculty Advisory Board (AFAB).

Lauren Seiffert

Lauren Seiffert (she/her) is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Bend, Oregon. She holds a BA and BFA from the University of Oregon, along with an MFA from the Pacific Northwest College of Art. Lauren is a founding member of FO(u)RT, an interdisciplinary art collective known for critique and collaboration. Her creative portfolio spans sculpture, installation, fibers, and video, often integrating found objects, images, refuse, and social media commentary into darkly humorous site-specific installations.
