Charlie Woekel

Hi! I'm Charlie Woekel, and I am the President of ASCC. I am a third-year political science major with an option in law and politics, and a minor in psychology. I am from Corvallis, Oregon and I chose Bend to escape the large campus feel of Corvallis and find my own way of life. This is my second year serving on ASCC, and I couldn't be more excited! I joined Student Government to improve this campus and community I have fallen in love with at OSU-Cascades, while gaining valuable experience for my life ahead. My hobbies include all things football and hockey, playing volleyball, snowboarding, playing guitar, and collecting LEGO. I am very excited for the school year and the possibilities to come.

Nayeli Monjaras-Juarez

Hi! My name is Nayeli Monjaras-Juarez, and I serve as the Vice President. I’m a second-year student double-majoring in Political Science and Early Childhood Development. I’m originally from Wendell, a small town in Southern Idaho, and coming to OSU-Cascades has been an exciting new chapter for me. I was drawn to Cascades because of its strong HDFS program and the supportive, close-knit environment between professors and students. The smaller class sizes make it easy to build meaningful connections, and I love being part of a community that encourages exploring new ideas and the outdoors. I joined ASCC to help strengthen student advocacy and to ensure that the incidental fee is clearly understood across campus. I’m passionate about supporting others, uplifting student voices, and contributing to a campus environment where everyone feels informed and empowered.

Hello! My name is Reese Kunitzer, and I am the Director of Legislative Affairs. I am a fourth year in Business Administration. I was born in California and moved to Bend at 10 years old. I decided to go to OSU-Cascades because it's close to home, and I love it here in Bend. My hobbies include writing, drawing, crocheting, and reading. I joined ASCC because I want to shape how student government grows and changes as time goes on.

Logan Young

Hi! My name is Logan Young, and I serve as the Director of Graduate Student Affairs for ASCC. I'm currently a student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program here at OSU-Cascades. I grew up in Soda Springs, a small town in southeast Idaho. I previously earned a bachelor's in exercise science, and a master's in athletic training from BYU in Provo, Utah. I was drawn to Cascades for its awesome outdoor scene and the ‘small-town’ feel community. I joined student government to represent our graduate students and help everyone get more involved on campus and throughout the local community. Outside of school, I love running, hiking, and reading. Most of all, I love spending time with my wife and teaching our toddler anatomy. I'm excited for this upcoming year and look forward to connecting with everyone!

Neona Prado

Hi, my name is Neona Prado, and I'm a third-year majoring in Biochemistry and Social Science, with minors in Computer Science and Chemistry. I found ASCC's position in collaboration with The Bridge and knew right away it was something I was passionate about. The Bridge's mission of building belonging, allyship, and inclusive leadership on campus really resonated with me. I'm looking forward to advocating for Affinity Groups, serving as a face of The Bridge, and helping familiarize students with the resources we have on campus. Director of Sustainable Initiatives

Alisia Sisneros

Hi, my name is Alisia Sisneros! I serve as the director of sustainable initiatives for ASCC. This is my third year in my position, and I am so excited to be back in this role. I am currently a junior majoring in Sustainability and Business. I love to skate, mountain bike, snowboard, and bake in my free time. Many of my outdoor sports have spurred me to be involved in protecting our planet but my interest in saving our planet began way before then going all the way back to the 7-year-old Alisia who was so upset learning about climate change for the first time. I wished for people to care as much as I did and thankfully now that is somewhat a reality. I love that I am able to advocate for and serve our students and our planet cohesively and think that everyone should feel they have their voice heard regardless of differences and hope to continue making that possible for our students in the upcoming year!

Matthew Blumhardt

Hi, I'm Matthew Bulmhardt. I am a third-year psychology major and hope to attend medical school after graduation. While I love Southern Oregon, where I have lived for years, I chose OSU-Cascades because of its tight-knit community and the numerous outdoor opportunities in Bend. While in Student Government, I plan on working with my peers to ensure that student resources are spent in a manner that fosters an accessible and equitable community at OSU-Cascades.

Malia Choi

Hi there! My name is Malia Choi, and I'm one of the SFC Communications Liaisons. I am a second-year Elementary Education major. I'm from the Bay Area, California. I came to OSU-Cascades because I love the small community feel and the small class sizes. I joined Student Government to make sure students' voices are being heard and to continue being involved in the campus community. In my free time, I love to go for walks and runs, hang out with friends, bake and cook, and go hiking.

Hello! My name is Aylin Chavez, and I am the Operations Analyst for SFC. I'm a second-year student majoring in Human Development and Family Sciences, with a minor in Political Science. My goal is to go to law school in the future. I have loved growing up in Bend, which is why I decided to stay in Central Oregon and go to OSU-Cascades! This will be my first year in student government, and I'm excited to get involved & serve those around me. Outside of academics, I enjoy sewing, painting, baking, and collecting cute trinkets.

Hello! My name is Jesus Avendano, and I am an SFC Communication Liaison. I am a second-year student, majoring in psychology and minoring in political science. I love the peaceful atmosphere of Bend which was one main reason I decided to stay in Central Oregon and go to OSU-Cascades. My hobbies include crafting, thrifting, and sewing. I am excited to make new connections and engage with others, as this will be my first year in student government!

I am a second-year student at Oregon State University Cascades and currently serve as the Member at Large on the Student Government's Judicial Advisory Committee (JAC). In this role, I help foster a fair, transparent, and engaged campus environment. I am majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Hospitality Management, focusing on leadership, organizational strategy, and business operations.
