Student Enrollment
OSU-Cascades’ enrollment is slated to grow to 3,000 to 5,000 students by 2025 to meet state educational attainment goals. The campus will serve students from Central Oregon, as well as Oregon, the U.S. and around the world.
Planning for the Future
Local and regional support and collaboration help shape the academic and physical future of OSU-Cascades. Ongoing input from area businesses and industry is used to develop new and enhance existing degree programs.
Research
A growing faculty includes researchers who are addressing local and global challenges, and serving our communities as part of OSU’s land grant mission.
Impact
Until the OSU-Cascades campus opened in 2016, Bend was the largest metropolitan area in Oregon without a four-year university. At full capacity, OSU-Cascades will support Central Oregon’s educational, economic and cultural goals, and serve as a partner for businesses, non-profits and the community.
Student Housing and Dining
Living — and Thriving — on Campus
In both nation-wide studies and research conducted at OSU-Cascades, first-year students who live on campus earn better grades than students who live off campus, and also tend to graduate more quickly. Learn more about our state-of-the-art residence hall.
Beaver Dam Cafe
The Beaver Dam offers flavors from around the world, and uses local, organic and sustainable products as much as possible. We are proud to provide vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and Halal dining choices.
