Step 1
(Access your account at any time.)
Beaver Basecamp is your admissions portal to review application status, confirm enrollment, view financial aid awards, apply for on-campus housing, complete START orientation and more. Basecamp is for applications submitted either at OSU or with Common Application. Beaver Basecamp provides a real time list/checklist of next steps so you know what you've completed on your way to enrolling at OSU-Cascades.
Important: to authorize your parent/legal guardian to speak to OSU-Cascades about your application status, use the 'Manage Contacts' button under 'Account Tools'.
Step 2
Connect with ONID and DUO
(Necessary to access OSU online services.)
ONID provides prospective students access to financial aid and scholarship info, including OSU ScholarDollars.
DUO provides secure two-step mobile verification for your student records. (You need an ONID account before signing up for DUO)
Once you have registered your ONID account, you can access your OSU email.
Step 3
Confirm Enrollment and Pay ATD
Verify your details on our ‘Confirm Your Enrollment’ form on Beaver Basecamp
Pay your Advance Tuition Deposit (ATD). You must confirm your enrollment and pay your ATD before you can participate in student orientation and course registration programming (START). Your $200 deposit allows OSU-Cascades to begin planning for new students each term. Deposit waivers are offered to qualified students at the time they fill out the enrollment confirmation form.
NOTE: CONFIRMATION DEADLINE IS EXTENDED TO JUNE 1, 2024
Confirming your enrollment must be completed by published deadlines (June 1 for new students entering in the Fall term; For Winter, Spring and Summer Terms, the ATD is refundable until three weeks before the start of the term) to secure your spot in the incoming class.
Step 4
Scholarships and Financial Aid
Some OSU scholarships are awarded based on the application for admission. Admitted students are eligible to apply for additional college and departmental scholarships after they have set up their ONID accounts.
To be considered for financial aid from federal and state sources, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Step 5
Housing
Take a virtual tour and apply online! The housing application opens in February and there is no cost to apply. Apply early to secure the room type that is right for you. You do not need to be confirmed at OSU-Cascades in order to apply for housing.
Step 6
START Orientation
(START is required to register for term classes.)
START, OSU-Cascades' new student online orientation and course registration program is available to students who have confirmed their enrollment by paying the $200 Advance Tuition Deposit (ATD) or who have received an ATD waiver/exemption. You will be invited to complete START and a link will appear on your next steps checklist in Beaver Basecamp when eligible.
